DC Video was entrusted with the recovery and remastering of some lost Leon Russell 2 inch Quad videotapes by Jeffery Haas of Deep Freeze Films. The videotapes were not in the best condition when they arrived at our facility and required multiple bakings and transfers to get the most optimal images and sound for the preservation files.
The third generation Ampex AVR-1 was used for this project which yielded excellent results.
